Although Tyler and Lance both agree that girls are not a big part of their lives right now, they come at it from two different perspectives. Lance is a big dedicated jock: he trains all day long, and everything he does relates to how it affects his body (he doesn't spend much time on his mind, and it shows). He believes that love and romance "sap" your energy and cannot be good for a highly trained athlete like himself.
But he's not above "using" girls at will. He's a "Playboy" type who frequently "loves 'em and leaves 'em", creating a trail of tears and unhappiness that the Qpiz have to clean up. The Qpiz resent his attitude and they work especially hard to get him to "see the light
